why children should not be forced to choose sides in a divorce situation

Because we don't really who is responsible and the best person to take care of us after the divorce

Here are some reasons-
·Causes stress
·Can give kids the "bad guy" role.
·Kids may blame themselves for the divorce.
·It's considered parental alienation which can get you put in jail.
·Is unfair to the other parent.
