Jerry traveled 110 miles in his car at a constant rate of 22 miles per hour. How many hours did he travel?

WORK:
110 = 22 x t
22t = 110
t = 5 hours

ANSWER:

speed = distance / time  so

time = distance  / speed

        = 110 / 22 = 5
