Two classes have a total of 50 students. One class has 6 more students than the other. How may students are in the larger class

Subtract 6 from 50:
50-6 = 44
Divide 44 by 2:
44/2 = 22

add 6:

22+6 = 28

There is 22 in the smaller class and 28 in the larger class.
