If we expand that binomial and at the same time distribute the 5 into the set of parenthesis, what we have is this: [tex]x^2+4x+4+5x+10-6=0[/tex].  Combining like terms we have [tex]x^2+9x+8=0[/tex].  As far as I can tell, that is the answer you are looking for, although there are no choices.
