Find the value of the variable and MN to f N is between M and Q. Round to the nearest hundredth if necessary. MQ=5m+1, NQ=4m, NQ=12

Since NQ=12 and NQ=4m, you have that 4m=12, m=3.
It is given that MQ=5m+1, then 
MQ=5·3+1=16.

Then MN=MQ-NQ=16-12=4.
Answer: MN=4 units.
