If you divide any number what comes before it, you get the ratio:

[tex] \frac{27}{500} \div \frac{9}{100} = \frac{3}{5} \\ \\ \frac{9}{100} \div \frac{3}{20} = \frac{3}{5} \\ \\ \frac{3}{20} \div \frac{1}{4} = \frac{3}{5} \\ \\ \frac{1}{4} \div \frac{3}{12} = \frac{15}{60} \div \frac{3}{12} = \frac{3}{5} [/tex]
The ratio is 3/5.
