-2x + 15y = -24

2x + 9y = 24

Adding to eliminate x:-

24y = 0

y = 0

Substitute for y in the first equation:-

-2x + 15(0) = -24

-2x = -24

x = -24/-2 = 12

Solution is x = 12 , y = 0
