An electromagnetic wave with wavelength between

roughly 350-700 nM is a visible light wave.


All electromagnetic waves are transverse waves. They travel

at a speed of nearly 300 thousand km/second in vacuum, and

somewhat slower in material stuff ... the exact speed is different

for each substance.
