Since, H is between 'K' and 'L'.

Given: The measure of KH = 3.4 inches and KL = 14.9 inches.

The measure of segment HL is determined by subtracting the measure of segment KH from the measure of segment KL.

HL = KL - KH

HL = 14.9 inches - 3.4 inches

HL = 11.5 inches.

Therefore, the measure of segment HL is 11.5 inches.
