The slope is the change in Y over the change in X


With the given points, the first number inside the parenthesis is the X values and the second number is the Y values.


Slope = (Y2 - Y1) / (x2-x1)


Slope = -5 - 3 / 4 - (-6)

Slope = -8 /10

Slope = -4/5
