The volume of a cube having side a is a³.

Here the cube has a side of 2 cm therefore its volume will be (2cm)³.

So the volume of the cube is  2cm × 2cm × 2cm = 8 cm³.

The volume of a cube that has sides of 2 cm is 8 cm³.
