First you gotta find the slope
[tex] \frac{20 - 8}{ - 6 - ( - 2)} = \frac{12}{ - 4} = - 3[/tex]
Then you can put it into point slope form using either of the points
[tex]y - 20 = - 3(x + 6) \\ y - 20 = - 3x - 18 \\ y = - 3x + 2[/tex]
