The slope-intercept form:

[tex]y=mx+b[/tex]

m - slope

b - y-intercept

The formula of a slope:

[tex]m=\dfrac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

We have the points (-1, -10) and (1, 0). Substitute:

[tex]m=\dfrac{0-(-10)}{1-(-1)}=\dfrac{10}{1+1}=\dfrac{10}{2}=5[/tex]

y = 5x + b

Put the coordinates of the point (1, 0) to the equation of line:

[tex]0=5(1)+b[/tex]

[tex]0=5+b[/tex]      subtract 5 from both sides

[tex]-5=b\to b=-5[/tex]

Answer: y = 5x - 5
