The 9th Amendment States that: The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
That is, the 9th Amendment states that even though the Constitution states the rights of the people, the people are not exclusively held to that list and other rights continue to exist.
