-3x-5y=-7
4x+5y=14
You can cross out -5y and 5y because they add to 0.
-3x=-7
4x=14
Combine:
x=7
Plug 7 into x into either of the two equations to solve for y.
4(7)+5y=14
28+5y=14
5y=-14
y=-14/5 or -2.8
