When Pearl Harbor happened Americans were mad at the Japanese for bombing them. They were afraid that the Japanese were spies.

During World War 2, citizens and U.S government didn’t trust any Japanese people. This leaded them to think some of the Japanese people were spies, so they sent them to camps
