You need to rewrite x as difference between 6x and 5x.

[tex]

3x^2+x-10=0 \\

3x^2+6x-5x-10=0 \\

3x(x+2)-5(x+2)=0 \\

(x+2)(3x-5)=0 \\

[/tex]

From here we have two solutions.

[tex]

x_1\Leftrightarrow x+2=0\Rightarrow\boxed{x_1=-2} \\

x_2\Leftrightarrow 3x-5=0\Rightarrow x_2=\boxed{\dfrac{5}{3}}

[/tex]

Hope this helps.
