Answer: -2ab² + 2ab - 2a

Step-by-step explanation:

  -2(a + b[3a - a(4 - b)])

= -2(a + b[3a - 4a + ab])   distributed -a into (4 - b)

= -2(a + b[-a + ab])           simplified inner brackets

= -2(a - ab + ab²)              distributed b into (-a + ab)

= -2a + 2ab - 2ab²           distributed -2 into (a - ab + ab²)
