You have to average out the total amount you pay by how many movies you see. For this deal, you must spend $16 (4 movies x $4) to get a fifth movie free. So, you are essentially spending $16 for 5 movies. To figure out how much the cost is per movie, divide the total cost by number of movies seen. $16/5 movies = $3.20 per movie
