Step-by-step explanation:

Let 1st term be (a) and common difference between sequence be (d).then according to question:

a=4

a+9d=10

i.e 4+9d=10

or, 9d=10 - 4

or, d= 6÷9

Hence,d=2/3

Now,

As,sixth term =a+5d

=4+5(2/3)

=4+(10/3)

=(12+10)÷3

=22÷3

=22/3

Thus,the required sixth term is 22/3.
