Which advantages did the British have over the colonists during the American war for independence?

There were many advantages. British soldiers were better trained and had better weaponry. Britain had experienced generals and leaders as well. Another advantage was that the war was fought on US soil where there were loyalists as well, not only the British soldiers. Also, colony money almost became useless due to inflation.
