If y = 3x + 4 were changed to y = 5x + 4, how would the graph of the new function compare with the first one?

Since we have given that

[tex]y=3x+4[/tex] were changed to [tex]y=5x+4[/tex]

As we know the standard form is :

[tex]y=mx+c[/tex]

In the first one, the slope is 3 i.e. (m = 3)  while in the second one, the slope is 5 i.e. (m = 5)

By using of slope , we can compare the new graph with the first one.
