I hope this helps you y=2x+1=x^2+2x-5 2x+1=x^2+2x-5 2x-2x+1+5=x^2 x^2=6 take square root two sides x=square root of 6 x=\/6 y=2x+1 y=2.square root of 6+1 y=2\/6+1
