false -3 and 3 because 3×3=9 the same for -3.

The answer is False. The square root of 9 is equal to 3 not -3. A square root of 16 is indeed 4 because it is a number that can be divided equally into 16. For example another square root for 16 is 2. 9 can only have 1 square root because no other number divides into it equally and the 1 square root is 3.
