Explain what all the parts of the vertex form of the quadratic equation f(x)=a(x-h)^2+k

I believe the answer to that question is (-h,k) because,
H is horizontal shift vertex (negative is right) (positive is left)
K is the vertical shift of the vertex , thus the y coordinate.
