The first Roman's code of law was established around  450 BC. known as the Twelve Tables. is the first law that regulates the rights of citizens by putting them in an equitable position when judicial jurisdictions are in question. It represents the basis for the Roman Law which will be developed and applied over the next thousand years In the Roman Empire, and is also the basis for civil law, which today is the most widespread legal system.
