Luke has 48 books. He puts 7 books in a box. How many boxes can he fill? Explain how you interpreted the remainder

He can fill 6 boxes. 48 / 7 = 6R6.

I interpreted the remainder by removing the remainder to get the answer.

7×7 would equal 49 so put 7×6 instead 48-42 is 6 so 6 boxes he would need 6 boxes with a remainder of 6 u can write it in a fraction like 6 then the line and at the bottom 48 or as a sentence like u could say Luke will need 6 boxes and he will have 6 left
