The courts job is to seek justice and hold people on trial for something that they are either guilty or not guilty. Elected officials are people elected by the people to tun a particular place in office for the state or even for the nation. I see this as an opinion question as people who voted and believe in an elected official may trust them more than the court, but in my opinion at least which doesn’t have to matter to you, the court it more trustworthy and has less (of the usual) corruption.
