Given two points (x₁,y₁) and (x₂,y₂) the midpoint would be:
M=((x₁+x₂)/2 , (y₁+y₂)/2)
In this case, the points would be: (1,2) and (1,-5); therefore:
M=((1+1)/2 , (2-5)/2)=(2/2,-3/2)=(1, -3/2)
