She fills the cap 3 1/4 times in all. John has a different bottle of detergent that is the same size. Every time he fills his cap, the amount of detergent in his bottle changes by -0.21 liters. He fills his cap 2 5/6 times in all. What was the total change for Brenda's bottle? What was the total change for John's bottle? Write as a decimal.

Brenda’s Bottle answer:

3 1/4 = 13/4 in improper fraction form.

13/4*-0.26 = -0.845. This is the difference in the change.

John’s Bottle answer:

2 5/6 = 17/6 in improper form

17/6*-0.21 = -0.595 in difference.
