y-5=3-9(y+2). so so u are going to distribute-9 to y and 2 which is -9y-18

so u are going to add like terms 3 and -18 which is -15. so the next step is going to be y-5=-9y-15 so u are going to add 5 to -5 and -15 to balance the equation and u will get -10 .  y=-9y -10. since u are multiplying -9 by y so have to expand it y= -9 * y -10. so u have to divide y by y to get y . -9-10= -19 soo y =-19
