10x^2 - 5x = 0
5x(2x - 1) = 0 .... factor out the GCF
5x = 0 or 2x-1 = 0 .... zero product property
x = 0/5 or 2x = 1
x = 0 or x = 1/2
Note: 1/2 = 0.5
We could use the quadratic formula here, or we could complete the square, but that's overkill in my opinion.
