3 = m* 2 + b   .. pass (2,3)

y = 0       x = - b/m  .. x intercept

-b/m = 2b .... divide b both side

-1/m = 2           m= -1/2

b = 3 - 2m = 3 - (2*-1/2) = 4

equation:  y = -1/2x + 4
