To find angle BCD, find the angle ACB that lies next to it on the straight line first.

Angles in a triangle add up to 180.

To find angle ACB:
180 - 83 - 47 = 50

So angle ACB = 50.


Angles on a straight line add up to 180 as well.

So to find angle BCD:
180 - 50 = 130
