Answer: Place in a sitting position

Explanation: Clients with spinal cord injuries are at an increased risk for developing autonomic dysreflexia. Autonomic dysreflexia is a condition in which the client has very high BP. 1st step is assist the client into a sitting position because it naturally reduces BP.
