What is unity?
The concept of scientific unity was a central goal of the Vienna Circle philosophy of science. The concept had at least two distinct components: methodological unity and content unity under a single legal system.
National unity: A type of government formed by a coalition of parties, usually in times of emergency. These governments are said to be united by patriotism rather than political affiliation.
