The Ka of HClO is 4.0 x 10^-8 at 25 C. The dissociation of HClO is:

HClO + H2O ---> H+ + ClO -    T = 25 C

Ka = 4.0 x 10^-8 = [H+][ClO-]/[HClO]

pH = -log[4.0 x 10^-8]
pH = 7.40
pOH = 14 - 7.40
         = 6.60
Kb = 10^-6.6
