What is gravity and how does it assist in erosion?

Gravity is a source that helps us pretty much stay on the ground it pulls everything down together if you look around see a picture on the wall that's on the wall which is connected to the floor which is held to the ground. It helps erosion because it pulls things down and when something is held down so hard it wont come up which creates erosion in the ground.
