Stefan and his 2 friends want to share 16 muffins equally. Will each friend get more than or less than 5 whole muffins? Explain how you know?

Stefan and his 2 friends will each get 5 muffins each with one left over. I know my answer is correct because 16÷3=5 remainder 1

Each friend would get eight muffins. 16 divided by 2 equals 8. I know because I did muliplication to find my answer. Hope this helped.
