First you move the x to one side
4x + 63 = 11x - 18
-4x. -4x
63 = 7x - 18
Next you add 18 on both sides
63 = 7x - 18
+18. +18
81 = 7x
Lastly you divide by 7 on both sides
11.5714285714 = x
x = 11.6 <---- round
