Last week: Arnold purchased 3 apples for $3.90. This week he purchased 5 apples for $6.50. Help Arnold analyze the price of apples.

The price for one Apple is $1.30

In order for you to figure out the price of a single apple you would simply divide. For example, $3.90/3 equals 1.3 also $6.50/5 equals 1.3. This means that one individual apple costs $1.30
