Functionalism is the framework that sees the objects and institutions in terms of their function. If we apply functionalism to Bureaucracy, it means we try to make bureaucracy be efficient with regard to its function, that is an effective function of a county or institution. This means for example, simplifying laws and reducing the number of employers to a minimum necessary.
