A store clerk has 45 shirts to pack in boxes.each box holds 6 shirts.whatis the fewest boxes the clerk will need to pack all the shirts?

Just divide 45 by 6 to get 7.5.
So, the clerk will need AT least 8 boxes to pack all the shirts, since 45 shirts cannot fit in only 7 boxes (only up to 42 shirts can hold in 7 boxes).

So 8 boxes is the answer
