Use the rule:
[tex] ({ {y}^{m} })^{n} = {y}^{m \times n} [/tex]
To get:
y^10, then, use the rule:
[tex] {y}^{m} \times {y}^{n} = {y}^{m + n} [/tex]
To eventually get:
