you put the ice cube in a glass. at room temperature or in the microwave or stove and then when then you would get an ice cube tray and put the water inside of it and then set in the freezer!
You could turn an ice cube into water by placing it any room with a temperature above freezing(32 degrees Fahrenheit), and you could turn water into ice by placing water in a room with a temperature below freezing.
